We went down and visited Uncle Jared and Aunt Melanie in Nephi on Friday. We had a great time. There was lots of American Idol and Dancing with the Stars on the Wii. Too bad I forgot we had our camera. But here is Jacob and Tanner enjoying a ride before we left. Thanks Jared and Melanie, we had a great time! We wish we had the chance to see you guys more often.

Tanner's Crash
Tanner loves to sled too. We didn't get the camera out until we had been there awhile. Unfortunately, Tanner crashed on his first run down after we got the camera. Here he is, all you can see if the bottom of his sled with his feet straight up in the air. He had a great time, until he landed on his head :)
Sledding Fun!
We took the boys sledding the day after Christmas. There was tons of snow and the boys had lots of fun. For Ryan sledding is all about how high and far you can "jump." There was a guy on the hill building several ramps for the sledders to jump off of. At one point they had a contest to see how many kids they could each jump over. Here's a few pictures of Ryan.
Here's Ryan after round 1 of our multiple round snow storm. This is how much snow we woke up to on Christmas morning. It continued to snow all day Christmas and the day after Christmas. Once the snow plows made their way onto our street. the piles on the side of the road completely covered our neighbors car that was parked on the street. It was crazy! Mike did A LOT of shoveling and was pretty sore.

Christmas 2008
The boys had a good Christmas. We had a really busy week. Mike was off work and had plans to work on the basement, but between some of us being sick and the hustle and bustle of Christmas time, he wasn't able to do any work. We spent Christmas Eve at the Cherry's. Christmas morning we woke up to about 2 1/2 feet of snow. Needless to say, we were snowed in for a good portion of the morning. By the time we thought we were ready to venture out to the Cherry's we got stuck immediately after pulling out of our driveway. We basically had to be pushed out of the neighbor. Once we got to the main roads it wasn't quite so bad.
